UFC 331 is nearly here, with a flyweight championship rematch between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja set to headline Saturday's return to Los Angeles.
Van puts his 125-pound title on the line against the man he controversially won it from via injury stoppage just nine months ago, while top lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan takes on surging Mauricio Ruffy in a high-stakes five-round co-main event.

UFC 331: Van vs. Pantoja 2 takes place Saturday, Sept. 19, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The early preliminary card begins at 5:30 p.m. ET, followed by the preliminary card at 7 p.m. ET and the five-fight main card at 9 p.m. ET.

Who's headlining UFC 331?
UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van (17-2) defends his title against former champion Alexandre Pantoja (30-6) in a rematch of their bizarre first meeting this past December.
Van, 24, became the second-youngest youngest champion in UFC history when he defeated Pantoja at UFC 323, but his crowning moment came under unusual circumstances. Just 26 seconds into the fight, Pantoja suffered a gruesome arm injury that abruptly ended the Brazilian's championship reign.
Pantoja had held the flyweight title since defeating Brandon Moreno in July 2023 and successfully defended it four times before the injury loss. Despite his injury setback, he remains Uncrowned's No. 2-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.
Van, Uncrownd's No. 10-ranked pound-for-pound fighter, has since made his first successful title defense, stopping Tatsuro Taira in the fifth round at UFC 328 in May.
Who is favored to win the UFC 331 main event?
Van is a slight betting favorite heading into Saturday's rematch.
He's currently listed at -130 and Pantoja at +110 — a significant swing from the opening odds, which initially installed the former champion as the favorite.
Who else is fighting at UFC 331?
The biggest fight outside of the main event is a five-round lightweight showdown between Arman Tsarukyan (23-3) and Mauricio Ruffy (14-2).
Tsarukyan, the UFC's No. 2-ranked lightweight contender, last fought in November with a submission win over Dan Hooker. Ruffy, meanwhile, continued his rapid ascent up the lightweight ranks in June by stopping Michael Chandler at UFC Freedom 250.
Saturday's lineup also features Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson's second UFC appearance, as well as former Bellator two-divison champion Patricio Pitbull taking on Doo Ho Choi.
The card underwent a significant late change after Brian Ortega withdrew from his scheduled lightweight rematch against Renato Moicano because of an injury. Moicano was subsequently removed from UFC 331 and booked to face Tom Nolan on Oct. 31.
