This is the UFC 331 live blog for Gable Steveson vs. Sean Sharaf, the main card heavyweight bout Saturday at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The undefeated Steveson (4-0) made a successful UFC debut in July with a first-round knockout over Elisha Ellison. Steveson is one of the most highly touted heavyweight prospects in recent memory, having won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, as well as back-to-back NCAA Division-I championships in 2021 and 2022. At 26, Steveson is projected to be a future title contender.

Sharaf (4-2) seeks his first UFC victory. The former United States Marine began his pro MMA career with four first-round knockout victories, but is yet to find success in the octagon. Sharaf, 33, lost by second-round knockout to Junior Tafa and was again finished in the second round when he squared off with Steven Asplund in a bout that won a Fight of the Night bonus for both fighters.
