An impending doom threatens to end all of mankind if robots and androids gain sentient life and begin wiping us out; a mass extinction of human history. But until then, we can force them into ridiculous scenarios for our personal enjoyment. Our fascination with electronics has matured to a level where they are essential to our everyday lives. They come in all shapes and sizes and have many different functions. Depending on how they’re used, some are perfect for connecting with others through text messages and social media; others are for watching our favorite shows or keeping up with the latest news. But all of those pale in comparison to Frankie LaPenna and his brilliant idea for their use.
Why not step into a cage against a robot designed to beat the living daylight out of whoever stands across from it? That’s what LaPenna thought, and it went exactly as you’d expect.
Frankie LaPenna is an influencer with tens of millions of followers and subscribers across all of his social platforms. And despite his fame, not one of those millions of fans told him how stupid an idea it is to get locked in a cage with a soulless, metal-plated robot that resembles T-800 from Terminator.
LaPenna did have some success in the fight, landing an array of shots with his patented Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em technique. But ultimately, the android took over and delivered a fight-ending blow that sent his opponent crashing to the canvas.
He can dust the defeat off; at least he learned his lesson, right? Wrong. Frankie LaPenna jumped back into the cage for another shot at a more dangerous, even more menacing robot that mirrored Predator. Long story short: Different actions, same outcome. Hats off to the gritty influencer.
