Tommy McMillen overcame an early knockdown to rally back and secure a unanimous decision victory.

McMillen and Marwan Rahiki had a lot of hype to live up to heading into Noche UFC. The undefeated pair entered the bout confident they would come out on top, and understandably so. Two featherweights entered the octagon and produced one of the best fights in the history of the sport. Brawling from the opening bell, Rahiki caught McMillen, dropping him to the canvas with his technically sound boxing.

Familiar with being the nail, McMillen weathered the storm, bounced back to his feet, and resumed throwing volume strikes at the same rate. Rahiki tredged forward, seeking a stoppage finish, and landing several big shots on the Arizona native, but it wasn’t enough.

McMillen showcased his dominant grappling and tricky submission attempts, tiring Rahiki, which is where the 28-year-old thrives. The Red Hawk Academy product showed true heart and grit after the knockdown, executing an exhausting pace that overwhelmed his opponent. Scoring a big knockdown of his own, McMillen began taking over the fight, dragging Rahiki to deep waters—which the Moroccan did well to survive.

Despite enduring a must-watch, all-timer fight, there was only one winner at the end of the night. Keeping his undefeated streak and extending his record to 12-0, Tommy McMillen came out on top.
