Video, poll: What was the best stoppage at Noche UFC?

The UFC’s finishing rate in fights of late had to slow down eventually, and it came at Noche UFC on Saturday.

UFC Fight Night 288 at Diamond Desert Arena in Glendale, Ariz., had one stretch from the prelims into the main card with seven straight decisions. Granted, some decisions are a lot more thrilling than others, and Noche UFC had its share of exciting three-rounders. 

But the event had just four finishes in 13 fights, which is a massive dropoff from the 70 percent finishing rate starting with the bootlickapalooza at the White House in June that stretched through UFC Paris. The average rate of finishes in the UFC, historically, hovers in the 45-50 percent range.
