Sean Strickland in bad shape after off-road vehicle accident

Sean Strickland was a passenger during an off-road vehicle accident that injured both Strickland and his friend.

The UFC middleweight champion is a known adrenaline junkie. If it’s dangerous, Strickland is most likely a fan. He is no stranger to vehicle incidents, having crashed several times in the past few years. But this time, he seems more beat up than any. The 35-year-old’s head collided with the floor during a 60-mile-per-hour crash that sent his friend to the hospital.

Sean Strickland shared a video on social media that shows the aftermath of the crash. He is sporting multiple cuts and bruises and is covered in dirt. Sharing what happened with fans, Strickland said:

“Guys, I’m in a real bad place. Oh f***. I let my buddy drive. He rolled us, going like 60 [MPH]. We rolled like six times. Bro, my head smacked on the ground going 60. I did not have a helmet on; I’m an idiot. That was just from rolling and smacking the concrete or the dirt.”

“F*** dude, I’m in a real bad place right now. Think I’m just going to lay here and take a nap for a little bit. Just a little shut-eye. A little shut-eye would be right, just to sleep it off.”

This comes days after Strickland got his motor vehicle stuck during another incident on September 20.

The video posted on social media shows Sean Strickland stranded on a side road while his vehicle is tipped upward. Strickland reportedly accelerated hard and committed to launching his vehicle over the dirt jump, not knowing there was a metal fence in the way. This resulted in a minor crash, where he was unable to move forward or backward.
