Jiri Prochazka vs. Navajo Stirling tops UFC Qatar, Sterling-Vallejos, Hooker-Ortega join Nov. 21 lin

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today announced the Paramount+ lineup for the upcoming UFC Qatar mixed martial arts (MMA) event, locked and loaded for Sat., Nov. 21, 2026 at ABHA Arena in Doha. Heading the promotion’s return to Qatar is the light heavyweight banger between former 205-pound champion Jiri Prochazka and undefeated division up-and-comer Navajo Stirling.

The winner will surely sit atop a very short list of title challengers for the returning Carlos Ulberg, currently sidelined with a knee injury.

Prochazka (32-6-1) may not get anywhere near the 205-pound strap with a loss to Stirling, having already been smoked by Alex Pereira (twice) and the aforementioned Ulberg. As for Stirling (11-0), this represents the final hurdle before securing a crack at the crown after recently disposing of ex-champion Jan Blachowicz.

UFC Qatar will also feature the 145-pound matchup pitting ex-bantamweight kingpin Aljamain Sterling (26-5) against Top 10 featherweight Kevin Vallejos (18-1). In addition, lightweight veteran Dan Hooker (24-15) goes head-to-head with former featherweight title contender Brian Ortega (16-5, 1 NC), while 125-pound stalwarts Asu Almabayev (24-3) and Kyoji Horiguchi (36-6, 1 NC) hook ‘em up for a spot in the flyweight title chase.
