Jorge Masvidal warns Payton Talbott of wanting to fight Sean O'Malley.

Talbott (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) called out former 135-pound champion O'Malley (20-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) after he finished Deiveson Figueiredo by first-round TKO at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City. O'Malley said he's willing to fight Talbott – unless bantamweight champion Petr Yan gets past Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 333 on Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi.

Masvidal believes O'Malley would be a hard fight for Talbott.

"He could look like Spiderman or whatever, but Sean O'Malley is no actor, he could fight," Masvidal said on "Deep Waters." "He will light up Payton right now. He'll light his ass up right now. The footwork, one of the best footworks on the whole roster, and has experience going five rounds."

Masvidal weighed in on Talbott's performance vs. Figueiredo (25-8-1 MMA, 14-8-1 UFC).

"In the (Henry) Cejudo fight, he surprised me," Masvidal said of Talbott. "He really surprised me in that one. This fight, mentally, (Figueiredo) hasn't seemed like himself. It's not to diss him or anything, but it's not what I'm used to seeing of him. So, I knew Payton would get this one done."
