Matheus Camilo vs. Jai Herbert UFC Vegas 122 expert pick, prediction
The co-main event for UFC Fight Night 290 features a lightweight showdown between Matheus Camilo and Jai Herbert.
Despite stumbling against the underrated Gabe Green in his UFC debut, Camilo has since bounced back with consecutive wins over Viacheslav Borschev and Nazim Sadykhov. Camilo also recently earned his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from the legendary Andre Pederneiras, so don't be shocked if the "Jaguar" looks to drag Herbert to the ground.
Herbert is fairly serviceable in every phase, but the Englishman's durability continues to concern me as he ages. For that reason, I suspect that Camilo rolls here via a club-and-sub in Round 2.
