PARIS – Salahdine Parnasse shined in his UFC debut.

Parnasse (24-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) hurt Dan Hooker (24-15 MMA, 14-11 UFC) with a body kick, then swarmed him for the TKO finish at the 2:35 mark of Round 1. The lightweight bout was the UFC Fight Night 287 main event at Accor Arena.

Round 1 saw both fighters throw hard leg kicks to start off. Hooker's offense was kick-heavy, while Parnasse looked to counter. Parnasse pressed forward with a big combination. Parnasse hurt Hooker with a body kick, then followed that up with a high kick, and a big left hook which dropped him, before raining punches down for the finish.

Former two-division KSW champion Parnasse called for a top-five opponent next. He said his dream fight is against former UFC champ Max Holloway.
