Shaydullaev (18-0) enters Super RIZIN 5 as one of the most dominant young talents in MMA. The unbeaten Kyrgyzstan standout has torn through RIZIN since joining the promotion in 2024, finishing every opponent put in front of him and racking up three defenses of his featherweight title. Shaydullaev now faces the biggest name of his career as he attempts to add the PFL featherweight belt to his trophy case.

McKee (25-2), a former Bellator featherweight titleholder, first rose to prominence with his championship stoppage of Patricio "Pitbull" Freire in 2021. Following a brief stint at lightweight, McKee enters Thursday's Japan showcase riding a three-fight win streak back down at his original weight class.

The winner of Shaydullaev vs. McKee will be crowned both the RIZIN and PFL champion.
