UFC Fight Night 289 weigh-ins: Perfect session – eventually – in Vegas

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday's UFC Fight Night 289 (Paramount+) fighter weigh-ins at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, where all 24 fighters hit their marks.

Among those weighing in were bantamweight contenders Raul Rosas Jr. (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) and Raoni Barcelos (22-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC), who meet in the main event. They made the headliner official early in the two-hour window.

In addition, Mehemmedeli Osmanli (12-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) takes on Ilimbek Akylbek Uulu (10-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the "TUF 34" bantamweight final, and Melissa Amaya (8-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) meets Valesca Machado (15-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in the "TUF 34" women's strawweight final. All four fighters hit their marks to lock in the tournament finals.
