Jake Paul sides with Anthony Joshua in Tyson Fury saga

Jake Paul has publicly sided with Anthony Joshua as Tyson Fury fight talks stall.

Reminiscent of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson, the Fury vs. Joshua clash just cannot get over the line. Even when all sides have agreed, and a date has been set, there is still one final hurdle that threatens to halt plans each time. Having tried and failed many times for over a decade, two of Britain’s superstar heavyweight boxers are in talks to meet in the ring for the first time. After months of deliberation, everything was done. Contracts were signed, a location was picked, and fans were finally going to get a fight they’ve been pursuing for years. Now, it looks unlikely once again.

Displeased with his rival, Eddie Hearn will reportedly pull the plug on the fight if Dana White has any involvement in promoting. The news was met with mixed reactions from fans. Many believe Hearn and White’s feud shouldn’t damage one of the biggest fights in modern boxing history. But Jake Paul thinks otherwise.

Paul argued that if Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn signed a contract excluding Dana White, White and Co. should honor it.

“If I sign up for a big budget movie and make it clear I don’t want to work with a specific producer, like say a Harvey Weinstein, you can’t after the fact just try and coerce me into working with him.”

“That’s basically the situation Anthony Joshua is in. He’s ready to make the movie on the terms he signed up for.”

Jake Paul has spent years attacking Dana White and has publicly announced his disdain for the UFC CEO. This long-standing animosity is why Paul was quick to take Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn’s side in the feud with White.
