UFC 332 Predictions for Silva vs. Wang
UFC 332 goes down Saturday, October 3, at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ahead of the fight card, here are our predictions for all 14 fights set to take place.
UFC 332 Main Card Preview & Picks
Vacant UFC women’s flyweight title bout: Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong
The vacant UFC women’s flyweight belt is on the line between Silva, who is 8-0 in the UFC, and Wang, who is 5-1 inside the Octagon.
Both women prefer to stand and strike, so this should be an exciting fight, though I heavily favor Silva, who is faster, slicker, and less hittable on the feet, to win a decision.
Pick: Natalia Silva via decision

Bantamweight bout: Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott
The co-main event is a mismatch, as Talbott should absolutely dominate Figueiredo in a fight where he is significantly younger, stronger, and more dynamic.
Look for Talbott to get this fight to the ground and submit Figueiredo for the biggest win of his UFC career to date.
Pick: Payton Talbott via submission
Lightweight bout: King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics
In my personal choice for Fight of the Night, I see an all-out war between Green and Ribovics taking place in the UFC lightweight divison.
While the younger Ribovics is the favorite here, the 40-year-old Green has won four straight fights, and I see the “unc” of the UFC lightweight division making that five straight wins with an upset knockout here over Ribovics.
Pick: King Green via TKO

Welterweight bout: Roberto Soldic vs. Khaos Williams
A knockout artist in Europe and Asia for many years, Soldic makes his long-awaited UFC debut here, but it’s not an easy one, as he takes on the durable and hard-hitting Williams in a fight that is unlikely to go three full rounds.
While Soldic obviously has the KO power to end this fight with one punch, so does Williams, and Williams has the superior cardio and durability.
Look for Williams to pull off a major upset here with a late-round knockout win over a gassed-out Soldic at Utah’s elevation.
Pick: Khaos Williams via TKO
Middleweight bout: Ateba Gautier vs. Roman Kopylov
Gautier has been knocking out almost everyone in his path so far in the UFC, and while Kopylov is a step up in competition, to be sure, this is still a fight I expect Gautier to win.
Look for Gautier to come out strong and knock Kopylov in the first round to continue his ascent up the UFC middleweight ladder.
Pick: Ateba Gautier via TKO
UFC 332 Preliminary Card Preview & Picks
Flyweight bout: Imanol Rodriguez vs. Alden Coria
Rodriguez is a top flyweight prospect with tons of potential, but Coria is really solid, too, and given the elevation factor, he may have a significant advantage if this fight goes long.
I expect Rodriguez to start fast, but then gas out and Coria take over to get a late stoppage win.
Pick: Alden Coria via TKO
Middleweight bout: Damian Pinas vs. Andrey Pulyaev
Pinas is one of the best middleweight prospects in the world, and he has a very easy matchup here against Pulyaev, who is nothing special.
This will be a first-round knockout win for Pinas, mark my words.
Pick: Damian Pinas via TKO
Featherweight bout: Marcus McGhee vs. Anthony Romero
McGhee was tabbed to face Benardo Sopaj, but after Sopaj pulled out during fight week, the UFC signed Romero on short notice to take this fight.
Unfortunately, I don’t see this going well for the UFC newcomer, as I see McGhee cruising to a decision here.
Pick: Marcus McGhee via decision
Heavyweight bout: Anthony Wint vs. Lucas Armand
Wint is one of the UFC’s top heavyweight prospects, and he has a very winnable matchup here against Armand, who is making his UFC debut with very little fanfare.
This should be another quick and easy win for Wint, who I expect to take Armand down and finish on the ground with strikes.
Pick: Anthony Wint via TKO
Heavyweight bout: Johnny Walker vs. Mick Parkin
We have a potentially very sloppy heavyweight bout here between Walker and Parkin, which could get ugly if it gets extended since this card takes place at elevation.
I’ll go with Parkin to knock the chinny Walker out, but truly nothing would surprise me in this one.
Pick: Mick Parkin via TKO
Welterweight bout: Jacobe Smith vs. Bruce Whitehead
The biggest mismatch on the entire card is this welterweight bout between Smith, a top prospect in the weight class, and Whitehead, who is making his UFC debut on short notice against an absolute stud.
This is the easiest fight on the entire card to pick, as Smith should finish Whitehead in the first round with strikes.
Pick: Jacobe Smith via TKO
Lightweight bout: Rafael dos Anjos vs. Alexander Hernandez
Dos Anjos, the 41-year-old former UFC lightweight champion, returns after a two-year injury layoff, and he has a tough matchup ahead of him in Hernandez, who is younger, stronger, and who has been far more active in recent years.
Look for Hernandez to win a decision in what could potentially be the final fight of dos Anjos’s UFC Hall of Fame career.
Pick: Alexander Hernandez via decision
Middleweight bout: Marvin Vettori vs. Ismail Naurdiev
Vettori has lost four straight fights, but Naurdiev is a step down in competition, and Vettori has a good chance to snap his losing skid here.
I expect Naurdiev to have a strong first round but then gas out, and Vettori to take over in the second and third rounds to win a decision and get back into the win column.
Pick: Marvin Vettori via decision
Welterweight bout: Court McGee vs. Eric Nolan
The 41-year-old McGee, a 16-year UFC veteran and a Utah native, will fight for the last time inside the Octagon on Saturday night, as he will retire following this bout, win, lose, or draw.
Unfortunately for McGee, I don’t see a happy ending here for him, as I expect Nolan to knock him out and send the respected veteran into retirement after a brutal loss.
Pick: Eric Nolan via TKO
