“El Terror” made sure his hometown crowd had something to celebrate.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighterJimmie Rivera returned to the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) ring this past weekend (Sat., Oct. 17, 2026) at BKFC 95, where he faced Brandon Meyer in the co-main event inside the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Rivera, a New Jersey native, delivered one of the night’s most memorable finishes with a brutal fourth-round knockout.

Rivera pressed forward and backed Meyer toward the ropes, steadily closing the distance as Meyer tried to hold his ground. Once Meyer was trapped along the perimeter, Rivera found his opening and fired a clean left hook upstairs. The punch landed flush, sending Meyer face-first to the canvas. The referee quickly stepped in to stop the fight at 46 seconds of the fourth round.

Check out the finish below:

The victory marked Rivera’s second knockout win in BKFC and improved his record in the promotion to 4-2-1. He has now won back-to-back fights since suffering a doctor-stoppage loss to Jeremy Stephens at BKFC 56 in December 2023.

Rivera has built a new chapter of his combat sports career in bare- knuckle boxing after a lengthy run in mixed martial arts (MMA). A former UFC and Bellator competitor, he last fought in MMA in 2021, when he lost to Pedro Munhoz … in a banger fight. He has since shared the BKFC ring with several familiar names, including Stephens and former Bellator champion Daniel Straus.

Rivera’s knockout wasn’t the only filthy knockout of the night.

A fight before Rivera, long-time BKFC veteran Tony Soto left his opponent stiff as a board with a vicious left hook.

Kicking off the main card, Cole Cameron made a statement in his BKFC debut by starching former Contender Series alumni Phil Caracappa.
