Darren Till: BKFC fight vs. fellow UFC veteran would sell out stadium

Fresh off his big bareknuckle win against Yoel Romero, Darren Till is setting his sights on a big promotion with Mike Perry.

In the main event of BKFC 94, which took place at AO Arena in Manchester, England, Till picked up a unanimous decision win over Romero. It was Till's second appearance under the BKFC banner, following a second-round finish of Aaron Chalmers at BKFC 90.

Given his popularity as a fighter, Till has quickly become one of the bigger names under the BKFC banner in just two fights. During his post-fight interview, he was interrupted by BKFC champion Lorenzo Hunt, who came in hot on the mic, talking trash about Till's performance.

While interested in a title fight against Hunt, Till would rather focus on utilizing his star power to accomplish a dream of all fighters from his hometown. Next, he wants a showdown with the BKFC King of Violence Mike Perry, and is very confident that the matchup would fill up a lot of seats at a large venue.

"I know with the promo that me and Mike will do it will sell a stadium," Till told iFL TV. "If it doesn't, it will come up short just a little bit. Trust me. I know the star power I've got now. I really do."

Till's target venue is Liverpool Football Club's home, Anfield. It's been a dream location for multiple fighters from Liverpool, and if BKFC is able to pull it off with Perry, that would be a dream come true for the 33-year-old former UFC title challenger.

"Look, it's difficult," Till said. "Whether Paddy (Pimblett) achieves that feat, or Callum (Walsh), or Liam (Smith), or me, someone else from the city of Liverpool, gotta give kudos. I'll chase it, Paddy will chase it. We'll all chase it. There was a time when Callum was going to do it. There was a time in 2018 when I was going to do it.

"Paddy's chasing it now. Now Paddy, if you have to say, the more likely, you've seen how big of a star Paddy's become. You know, I'm still up there in it. You've seen the star power I've got. So, one of us will get it."
