How the Fight Ended

The two outlets describe the finish differently. MMA Fighting reported that McCain stuffed a Bisping takedown attempt, pinned him against the fence and landed a barrage of punches, and the referee stepped in after Bisping went down. MMA Junkie described a huge right hand that sent Bisping crashing to the canvas.

Who Is Callum Bisping?

Callum is Michael Bisping’s eldest son, according to MMA Junkie. MMA Fighting reported that he wrestled in college at San Francisco State and decided last year to follow his father into MMA.

The loss to McCain came in his third amateur fight. He won his debut by unanimous decision in December 2025 and stopped his opponent in the first round in April 2026, MMA Fighting reported. MMA Junkie described the April win as a 69-second knockout. Callum is now 2-1 as an amateur.

Where Michael Bisping Was

Michael Bisping was not cageside for his son’s fight. He was in Las Vegas the same night, working as a commentator for UFC Fight Night 290, according to MMA Junkie. The outlet reported that the UFC Hall of Famer largely stays away from his son’s career so it doesn’t draw extra attention.

Neither Callum nor Michael Bisping has commented publicly on the result, and Callum has not announced any plans to turn professional.
