UFC 333 weigh-in results: Big miss only blemish of 28-fighter session

ABU DHABI – MMA Junkie was on scene and reporting live from Friday's UFC 333 fighter weigh-ins.

Among those weighing in for Saturday's card at Etihad Arena on Yas Island (Paramount+) were two-time featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (28-4 MMA, 15-3 UFC), who puts his title on the line against unbeaten Movsar Evloev (20-0 MMA, 10-0 UFC) in the main event, and two-time bantamweight champ Petr Yan (20-5 MMA, 12-4 UFC), who meets ex-titleholder Merab Dvalishvili (21-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) in trilogy rematch co-feature.

All four championship athletes did their jobs on the scale, as did everyone else with the exception of one preliminary-card name who missed her contracted mark by a wide margin.
