Renato Moicano, one other fighter transported to hospital following UFC Halloween

Better to be safe than sorry …
Following UFC Halloween (a.k.a. UFC Vegas 123) tonight (Sat., Oct. 31, 2026) inside Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, promotion officials confirmed to MMAmania.com that two fighters were transported to a local hospital for precautionary evaluations after sustaining damage in their respective bouts.
Those fighters were former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight title challenger Renato Moicano and Welterweight Farman Hasanov.

Moicano (21-8-1) was transported for precautionary CT scans of his head and face following his third-round technical knockout loss to Tom Nolan in the main event (watch highlights).
The result did not come without major controversy.
Moicano had Nolan’s back with a body triangle locked in the second round and appeared to be in complete control. However, referee Dan Miragliotta inexplicably stood the fighters up despite Moicano maintaining a dominant position and actively working.
Nolan immediately capitalized, badly hurting Moicano with strikes before nearly finishing him late in the round. The Australian continued applying pressure in the third, eventually reversing a Moicano takedown and unloading ground-and-pound until Miragliotta stopped the fight.
Moicano is now 1-3 across his last four appearances and ends 2026 with a 1-1 record in UFC main events.

Hasanov (5-1) was transported for precautionary CT scans of his head and face following his doctor-stoppage loss to Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani, which opened the UFC Halloween main card.
“The Lion” sustained a gruesome cut across his left eyelid during the third round. Miragliotta paused the action and called in the ringside physician, who determined that Hasanov could not safely continue.
The loss snapped Hasanov’s undefeated record and dropped him to 1-1 inside the Octagon after winning his promotional debut at UFC Baku earlier this year.
At the time of publication, the results of Moicano’s and Hasanov’s scans had not been publicly disclosed.
It is normal for UFC to transport fighters to the hospital for precautionary reasons, especially if the fighters are involved in three-round battles that are full of damage or after suffering nasty knockouts.
