PFL Chicago results: Jena Bishop stuns Liz Carmouche for flyweight title, Dakota Ditcheva demands ne
Jena Bishop avenged her loss to Liz Carmouche to claim the vacant PFL flyweight title in the main event of PFL Chicago on Friday at Wintrust Arena.
Immediately after the event, Bishop faced off with Dakota Ditcheva, who threw her name in the hat to face the winner of the championship clash after being given the all-clear to return to full contact training earlier this week.

Bishop (12-3) showed great grit to remain in the contest after encountering some early adversity in Friday's rematch.
She was hanging on for dear life at the end of the first round after being put down by a short hook from Carmouche (26-9).

Despite that, she rallied well in the second, taking Carmouche down only to lose the position due to her landing illegal shots to the back of the head. Bishop's momentum carried into the third; a well-timed trip led to her taking Camouche's back, with the veteran calling on all her savvy to survive a minute-long hand fight to finish out the round.
After dropping two consecutive frames, Carmouche reintroduced herself in the fourth by landing much cleaner shots in the striking exchanges. Although Bishop appeared to be a spent force in the early exchanges of the final round, a scramble led to her taking Carmouche's back, where she threatened with a number of submission attempts before the bout ended.

"I thought it was either going to be really easy or it would be really tough, and I was prepared for it either way," Bishop said post-fight.
"I knew this was going to happen and I knew I was coming home with this belt."
Speaking on the broadcast earlier in the night, Ditcheva (16-0) revealed that she's been green lit for full-contact training after breaking both of her hands in her last outing, a decision win over Denise Kieholtz in July.
"Now that I've been cleared, I want to be the next person to fight for [the belt]," said Ditcheva.
"I know everyone calls me a prima donna, but if I'm not next in line, I might kick up a fuss a little bit. But I kind of understand at the same time — I do keep injuring myself."
"I'm ready to go, February or March I would love to get in and challenge someone for the belt," she added.
In the night's co-main event, boos chorused around the venue when Timur Khizriev (19-0) was announced the split decision victor of his rematch with Gabriel Braga (17-4).
Khizriev competed for the first time since he was shot five times by two masked attackers in Makhachkala, Dagestan in July 2025. That incident took place eight months after his last professional outing in November 2024, when he won the PFL featherweight tournament with a decision win over Brendan Loughnane.
He was dropped twice in the second round after being stunned by a stiff left hook by Braga in Friday's opening stanza. Although he matched Braga's volume, the Brazilian clearly landed the more damaging shots over the 15 minutes.
Braga cut a devastated figure when Khizriev was declared the winner, after appearing to be on the verge of putting the first blemish on Khizriev's undefeated record.
Earlier in the night, Sarvarjon Khamidov (18-1) made short work of Rafael do Nascimento (13-3) in their bantamweight clash.
The Brazilian was riding high on the back of his upset win over British prospect Lewis McGrillen, but was quickly brought crashing back to Earth when he met a thunderous Tajik hook before the two-minute mark of the first round.
